Chemical Peel treatment consists of the application of one or several chemical agents to the skin of the face imparting an exfoliating effect to the epidermis that favours cellular regeneration.
Depending on the chemical agents involved the results can be very different. As per the patient’s needs we can apply de-pigmenting peels for spot removal, sebo-regulating peels for greasy skin with a tendency to suffer acne, anti-aging peels for aged, wrinkled skin, etc.
Skin peel treatments can be classified as superficial, medium deep and deep depending on the potency of the preparation, the exposure time and the type of spots to be removed. That’s why each treatment must be tailored to suit the patient’s characteristics.
Skin preparation and care both before and after each session is crucial to achieve the best tolerance to the treatment and achieve the most satisfying results. The doctor will analyze the patient’s skin type to determine the cosmetic products to be applied.
